Click through the different pages of this site to see what you can find. Maybe you want to share your voice in a poll or comment on an article. Maybe you can learn something that you will apply in your daily life. Maybe your philosophy about people, animals and the earth will be changed in a way that you will want to share the new things you learn with others. Or perhaps you will find a simple link or resource where you can go to learn, take action, participate, create and find ways to express your love and appreciation for the Earth we have been given.

Why would anyone want to be a "vegan"? Why would anybody ever want to stop eating [rotting] meat? In general, a vegan is a person who does not eat anything that comes from animals. This means no meat, no dairy (no milk, no cheese, no butter)...and for some people it includes honey. So a person who is vegan only eats fruits, vegetables, beans and grains. BORING...right?
And...it's becoming a trend!

Many of you who read this article are either vegan or some sort of vegetarian. There are some good resources on the web that list restaurants that are vegan, vegetarian or veg-friendly. One of the most popular resources is a site called Happy Cow. They have really done some great things to show restaurants and health food stores with reviews, maps, information, costs, ratings...the site is well done.
